11 July 2009

I’m very happy that I have the opportunity to do charity work for my school (oh, I mean the school where I study my secondary, not MINE)!

Seremban Chung Hua High School has been on the top of the cozy hill for 96th years. For this many years, the school needs a refurbish work after nurtured many thousands of successful students! Of course many will think that “Chinese school? Cheh, all very rich one lah!”  right? Is that what you are thinking too? Then perhaps you should take this opportunity to visit the school on the 26th July 2009 :) . Visit their blog at www.serembanchunghua.com and you will know it’s actually many people has been working very hard behind the scene.

To me, CHHS played a major part in my childhood life, being a boarding student, we stayed in the hostel is so much fun! All those sweet memories where even now I  can’t stop mentioning with my friends and even my kids! Thus, this is a great opportunity to show them a token of love from me.

Here, allow me to say something: Thanks to my hubby for giving his support to me, and thanks to:  Demi Choo, Loy, Blackghost, Ley chuen, Seok Koon, Rachel Han, James Pang, Sam Wong, Pearl, Hui Yeng, Rachel, Mich Yaw, and my senior Ou Yong for financially support my idea too without question asked!

The charity sales will start on 26th July 09 (it’s a Sunday) at 8 am in the morning and end at 1.30 pm.  Entrance is FREE! make sure you purchase your coupons at the counter before you start your shopping! All trades are in coupons and NO CASH term allow oh!

Wanna sneak-a-peek at what I’m gonna sell on that day?? Featured here are few of my creations, wanna see more then you’ve got to come to visit my booth!

On darker background color

It’s been a delay for posting up this lovely 925 Silver Earring as I accidently deleted the whole write-up and couldn’t recall what I was writing a week ago!

The idea of this earring come from the bit and pieces I picked up from my desk while clearing it for more work space (believe me, my desk is REALLY messy with all sorts of crystals across the board!)

Enjoy yourself~!

Supplies
16  4mm 5301 bicone, Crystal AB
8   4mm 5301 bicone, Crystal Moonlight
4   6mm 6301 bicone top hole, Crystal
2   12mm 5714 Star Bead, Crystal AB

The crystal AB of the star beads has a shiny gold effect when it comes to darker background (or with dadrker clothes, just like in the 1st photo), whereas when you put it at a lighter background color it has a crystal clear shine with cyan effect.

An elegant earring you can consider~!

I don’t have a very good skill in photography (I think I will blame it to I don’t have a good camera, all taken using my 6 years’ old SONY cyber-shot) so the photo looks a bit blur.

A New Start for New Year

19 April 2009

I always wanted to write something, anything about beading, beads, findings and technics that I’m using everyday since December 08. Only until now, this very moment that I have the inspirations to sit down and FINALLY write something (I hope it is).

For the pass few months I’ve been struggled with the “bottle neck” of my creativeness and wanted to do something outside the box! Not the usual daily routine -> repair crystal’s jewellery, do-as-told beads work…

Since I’m stucked with my creative work, it is time to let them out of my mind for a while and seriously think of WHAT I can do with the site, I wish that I will not let myself down this time.

Come back in a week time to see the new ME!
